Bankkleed af / Couch runner finished

Het bankkleed dat ik haakte van het velours-achtige Hawaï, half katoen, half acrylgaren van Lammy, is al weer enkele weken af en in gebruik. Het bevalt prima!
Het blijft goed in vorm, ook als er iemand op de bank heeft gezeten, en het is zacht en warm.
Gebruikte steek: vasten. Gebruikte haaknaald: 4mm (kleiner dan geadviseerd, geeft een dichte structuur.
The couch runner that I crocheted from velvety Hawaï, half cotton, half acrylic, is finished and already in use several weeks. We really like it.
It keeps form, even when someone has been sitting on the couch, and it is soft and warm.
Stitch: single crochet. Hook: 4 mm (smaller than advised, results in a dense fabric).

Het begin / The start

Lammy Hawaï haakt een beetje zwaar, maar misschien komt dat omdat ik haak met een iets dunnere haaknaald: 5,5 mm ipv 6-7 mm.
Omdat het garen een koord-achtig is, is de haakstructuur duidelijk zichtbaar.
Lammy Hawaï is a bit heavy to crochet with, but maybe that is because I use a slightly thinner hook: 5.5mm instead of 6-7 mm.
The yarn is a little like cord, so the crochet strcture is very distinctive.

De breedte van het kleed is 60 steken, de drie brede strepen bestaan elk uit 10 toeren = 30 toeren van één kleur in totaal. Dat is wat ik met 1 bol van 100 gr kan haken.
The width of the afghan is 60 stitches, the broad stripes consist each of 10 rows = 30 rows of one color in total. That is what I can crochet with one ball of 100 gr.
