Meer onderzetters / More coasters

It is almost two month ago that I wrote about my crochet projects.
Ik could not get myself to making pictures. Often I am not content with the pictures I make. I do not own a really good (i.e. expensive) camera. On the camera it says that it has a wide angle lens and I think that that is the problem. You can make a good picture of a house, but a piece of crochet, that is difficult. The result is often distorted. But now I decided to show some things one more.
Sometimes I know that I will go and see people and I think: shall I crochet a little gift? But what is the ideal gift?
Some time ago I saw coasters on the Corda website, designed by Kelly Ronci and I thought: these could be a good gift!
For the first coasters I used some left over black cotton. Only enough for three.

Van dit modderkleurtje had ik wat meer. Onderzetters in zes verschillende vormen.
I had more crochet cotton in this muddy color. Coasters in six different forms.

Deze kleurencombinatie vind ik ook leuk.
I also like this color combination.

  1. Hallo Estella,

    Groetjes.

  2. Hallo Estella! Interesting to see a group of things that belong together although they have different shape! You have made this almost scientific! Do you it is possible to make a sevenpointed piece?

  3. Thanks for the Youtube-link, it was very clear! Abot the inverted crochet - I once figured it out all by myself, but after some time I found that somebody else had been thinking in the same way, that was when I found Carol Venturas video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIX7gGW79Bw
I use this inverted stitch every now and then, and think it is perfect for all sorts of projects! I have labelled my inverted crochet projects "avigt" in the blog.

    Have a good crochet-day!
